Early April 2025, on 08.04.2025, kicked off the new Collab4Resilience (C4R) iniciative, as a joining effort of the EU-funded projects in advanced materials and nanoscience.

Leaded by the CheMatSustain project, and under the motto “Stronger Together in Science and Sustainability“, the C4R initiative aims to foster stronger partnerships by harnessing the transformative potential of nanotechnology and promoting Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approaches to support a climate-neutral, circular economy.

This first workshop, held by CheMatSustain’s coordinator,  the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg), gathered over 10 projects funded under HORIZON-CL4-2023-RESILIENCE-01 and related calls, who joined a interactive session foster dialogue, exchange of best practices, and joint efforts for communication and dissemination activities.

Six core collaboration areas were defined:

  • Joint presence and coordinated joint LinkedIn campaigns
  • Development of a shared newsletter
  • Opportunities for joint scientific publications
  • Shared YouTube content and video communication
  • Cross-promotion of events and resource materials and well as joint organisation of event
  • A creative brainstorming session titled “What’s still in your pockets?

The C4R initiative aligns with PLANETS’ commitment to join forces in maximising the collective impact of EU projects and supporting the transition toward a climate-neutral, sustainable, and resilient Europe. By working together, projects can increase their outreach, better inform policy discussions, and build stronger bridges between science and society.

Looking forward to many activites together!
