PLANETS is an ambitious Horizon Europe project that aims to develop alternatives for 3 of the most important classes of molecules in chemical industries – plasticizers, flame retardants and surfactants – that will be significantly safer to workers and consumers and have considerably lower environmental impact, while still being economically viable and taking social aspects into consideration.
