Our consortium

The PLANETS consortium brings together 18 partners from 7 countries: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and Spain.

The diverse, yet complementary consortium includes 8 partners from large industry (SQO, WCK, ELKEM, GC, BASF, BDH, SBCH, STERNE), the 2 SMEs (RINA, QL), 5 RTOs (CEA, TNO, IPC, ICT, AIMEN), as well as 3 non-profit organizations (BNN, PLUS, RU), clearly demonstrating the industry-oriented ambition of PLANETS.

Our partners bring the robust expertise required for a successful project, covering the following areas:

  • Development of safer and more sustainable alternatives through SSbD assessments in a tiered approach
  • Demonstration of the integration of the new molecules developed for the manufacturing of new products for various applications
  • Social and humanities sciences
  • Business plans and market uptake approaches
  • Identification of new skills and training
  • Stakeholders’ interactions and feedback to the JRC and the European Commission
