About TNO
TNO (Nederlandse organisatie voor toegepast natuurwetenschappelijk onderzoek) is a research organisation with a staff of 4,500 employees, mostly researchers and consultants in many technological fields of interest. In Europe, TNO is among the top suppliers of technological knowledge and it functions as an intermediary between basic research organisations and industry. TNO’s role in PLANETS
In PLANETS, TNO leads Work Package 6: SSbD decision support for successful substitution. In addition, TNO contributes to all other WPs, with an emphasis on SSbD expertise in WP2 and WP4.
