About QSAR Lab

QSAR Lab Ltd (QSAR Lab) transfers chemistry from traditional laboratories to the virtual space. The main company activity is a synergy of Digitization, Green Deal and SSbD assumptions in the field of computational chemistry, advanced materials modelling, health and environment. Using in silico methods, data analysis, ML and AI helps partners increase the efficiency of the research, reduce costs and boost innovation.

QSAR Lab’s research and development activities primarily concern the development of innovative computer methods for the design and health risk assessment of technologically advanced nanoparticles and nanomaterials. QSAR Lab is a pioneer in computer modeling of biological activity / (eco)toxicity / physicochemical properties of nanomaterials.

QSAR Lab’s role in PLANETS

In PLANETS, QSAR Lab is responsible for screening and application of available in silico methods and tools for hazard assessment of alternatives analyzed in the project. The in silico analysis will be performed on all three tiers established in PLANETS. QSAR Lab is also involved in the regulatory aspect to provide advice to policy makers and regulators on how to improve capabilities towards the development of NAMs for safety and sustainability assessment.
